Brainy Juniors Kindergarten (2015 Term 2)

We are so glad that Colin enjoys his school. The school fees may not be the cheapest but definitely worth our money! I chose this school mainly cause it was closest to my parents' place (which also meant savings on school bus/ transport!).

I like the curriculum cause there's GymKidz programme for the active little one, music lessons and lots of crafting time apart from the normal language and literacy (Engilsh: Victoria Carlton Literacy Programme - Jolly Phonics/Grammar, Chinese:乐中学) classes. Colin comes home singing new songs, dancing happily and bugging me to do painting/anything hands on with him. That's a good sign right? :D

Curriculum aside, the teachers are very dedicated and caring (probably a result of the low student:teacher ratio). They will email me to ask if Colin was okay when he was absent from class for long period. The teachers were the first one to inform us when Colin is 'heaty' or had ulcers in his mouth. I remember I didn't plan to accompany Colin for his first lesson since he will stick to me like forever.. but the principal advised me to stay on so he would be able to settle down emotionally. Glad I did cause it took him only slightly more than a week to settle down in school; no fussing at the entrance when we drop him off for class. :) I liked how his teachers were able to handle him peacefully instead of raising their voices.

The thing I love most is seeing pictures of what's happening in class! :D So this is him doing his stuff in school!

Colin was able to tell me that he played xylophone! I was trying to figure out what this was?! hah

His class has 11-12 students. :)

Louise 妹妹

Me: Colin, 妹妹's name is Louise.
Colin: Goopy!
Me: Louise...
Colin: Toby!

Lols. This boy is too cute.

Regarding Louise..
Went for gynae appointment on 29 Apr '15 and found out that I gained 3kg in a month! I ate as usual... and some chocolates.

Dr Paul did a scan and said bb Louise's estimated weight was almost 2.5kg, 1kg gain since last visit! She was in breech position and has long legs... chances of her hitting 4kg is high. Oh man.

Things Colin says

My parents came back from breakfast with Colin and asked Colin to wake me up. He went..

Colin: Time to wake up mummy! Popo  got you something to eat!
Me: What did popo buy?
Colin: French fries (he meant McDonald's)! Don't you eat French fries?

Oh man.. his language at 34 months. I don't know what to expect when he turns 4 or 5 years old.

Some of his favorite phrases now:
- Are you kidding me?
- What????!!!
- May I go to the farm?
- You are naughty!
- Did I tell you not to ... ..
- I don't want you!

Family holiday 2015

Our Taiwan in a glance.

Kams and Changs in Taiwan

This was the first time I (and we) took flight with my parents. The holiday was awesome with 4 pairs of hands and legs chasing after our little monkey. Pics here are all taken with our mobile phones cause my Canon S100 died due to lens error on day 2 of the trip (sigh).

We were told that the temperature was a whooping 31 degrees a few days before our trip. But.... it dropped to as low as 13 degrees while we were there. Thank God I packed extra long sleeve tees and pants for Colin.

Cheers to more holidays! =)

Our no. 2

We are halfway through our second pregnancy! Went for our detailed scan at Thomson Medical Centre this morning and confirmed that a girl is on her way~ Everything looked good so far.

My belly showed much earlier and weight climbed way faster this time. I wonder how much weight I will gain this time?? With Colin I weighed almost 66kg. AT 20 weeks today, I weighed........ 59,5kg. :S

Pray for a safe pregnancy and healthy girl! Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy. Amen!

Aircon remote

This is the second time buying this universal aircon remote. All the aircon remotes in our apartment malfunctioned when we bought it. Went to a few shops and were quoted around $40 for an original remote - might as well get this universal remote at $9.90! We got it from neighbourhood hardware shop.

It's really easy to set. Just look at the codes assigned to the brand of your aircon at the back of the package, set the codes as instructed and turn on your aircon! The best part is if you were to change aircon, you just need to re-set the code. One remote to rule them all! :D

30 months and counting

This was how Colin welcomed us home today.

To daddy: Hug
To mummy: Hug and an "I love you"

Daddy was jealous so he pretended he was sad to get his "I love you".

Here's how it went..
Daddy: Colin, I'm sad.
Colin: Don't be sad ah? Don't be sad. (In a very singaporean way)
Colin: Stop it. Stop it!

We broke into laughter when we heard him saying "stop it!" cause that's the exact same tone we use whenever we wanted him to stop doing something.

Some other funny phrases he said...
I so very sad.
I so very tired.
Papa is princess.
I want to jump you.
I want to hungry.
Hey! Wake it up mama/papa (when we laze on bed)

He also surprised me some days/weeks back with...
I am angry with you mama!
I don't care!
It's okay.. (tells himself after he falls)
Mummy is princess.
Breakfast/dinner time.
'Cuse me mama/papa!
I drying my hair (while standing in front of the fan).
Hey, wait a minute!

Starts asking us questions we asked him...
Is this is dog?
Where is the puppy?
What sound does a dog (or any other animals he know) make?
Do you want to read a story?
Are you okay?
Do you want to see doctor?
What's wrong with you?
May I... ?
Will you....?

This boy is growing up so fast.

At 30 months, he can converse with us like a little adult.

● He uses -ing and past tenses correctly most of the time.
● Expresses his emotions and wants (he asked me for a kiss on his left cheek before tucking in bed)
● Shows concern for others
● Jumps anywhere and everywhere

The list is endless! He learns much faster than I can blog.

I'm sure he'll be an interesting big brother. ♥

Toilet

Colin has a thing for toilets. It's where he goes for swims (baths), pees on the floor, washes hands and feet and plays with water when no one notices.

But something different happened today. My mum told me that Colin took a dump on the toilet bowl! He needed to go but wasn't wearing diapers. So he climbed onto the toilet bowl, turned around carefully, sat comfortably and there he went! First dump into the toilet bowl!

Bravo!!

Colin moments

Summer Cat was standing on top of the cat tower.. and Colin said to Summer: "Come down, little guy!"

Some other things Colin said to the cats:
"Tmeed!  You naughty boy! "
"Don't hide!"
"You wanna play ball?"
"You wanna eat?"
"I put you inside (the dryer)"

Tuesday, November 18

Fiesty one

Daddy wrapped himself in a blanket (which Colin claimed was his) when he went out to greet the cats in the morning.

Colin returned to our room and saw daddy using his blanket. He immediately shouted, "My blanket! My blanket!  My blanket! Hey!!! 'cuse me!" and proceeded to snatch the blanket away from daddy.

Poor daddy. Hahhaa.

Colin cares

I've been feeling tired and sleeping much earlier these days.

Colin found me on the bed today and asked me to go outside (living room). I told him I was tired.  He kept asking me, "What's wrong with you?"

Our son is starting to care for us.. awwww. So sweet.

The Changs are packing up for their move to Kam's house.

We found this card somewhere in the house and thought we should post a picture of it before we throw it away. :)

Kim Keat Motor Co

My bike always shines after servicing cause Victor, the mechanic, cleans it (really well)!

I thanked him politely and he said bikes have to be doted.

Victor is very detailed when servicing my bike. Never fails to explain in layman terms. He also resolved some issues my previous mechanic left behind.

Plop goes the fried ice -cream

I love it when funny things happen.

Story of 2014!

We bought the a fried ice-cream from the mobile night market near our place. I walked ahead of Mr Chang to overtake a family feeding their toddler girl on the pavement. Then I heard Edward went: "OEI!!!". I turned backed and saw a frozen Edward with eyes fixed on ground. I followed his gaze and found both the cup and fried ice-cream on the ground, about 1 metre apart. I hurriedly picked up the fried ice-cream and placed it back into the cup because I knew he TRIPPED (haha). Surprisingly I contained my laughter (very well) cause the family turned around to look too. The very apologetic husband looked at my with puppy eyes and offered to get a new one for us. But I blew off whatever sand I could and went ahead to take a bite anyway. :D

Thank you for making me laugh so hard. Love you dear!

Little requests

Colin started stating his requests at a very early age. Usually to ask permission to have adult food and sweet treats, watch Barney, head to kiddy rides or playgrounds... basically neverending requests. We usually fulfil his request (sometimes delaying the approval) since it's nothing outrageous.
Today, he made a request to drink milk on the sofa when I informed him we should head to the room for milk and afternoon nap. He arranged the cushions and laid down, all ready to drink his milk after saying: "我要睡这边." I agreed let him have his milk. My reward? A happy boy who drifted to dreamland towards the end of his feed. His first time dozing off on our sofa.

Brainy Juniors Kindergarten (2014 Term 3)

Colin started school again after a few months break from childcare. He's attending 2.5hr playgroup @ Brainy Junior's Kindergarten. I picked this school because it's close to my parent's place. :D It is so difficult to find a preschool in Singapore. I had to place Colin on the waiting list for a few months to get in.

I wasn't planning to accompany him for class on the first day but he kept crying for me so the teacher advised me to accompany him to prevent emotional stress in a new environment.

A typical day in school goes like this:
Play time while waiting for class to start
Assembly
English Lesson
Morning snack
Art & craft
Chinese lesson
Story time
Go home

Here are some of the pictures of him in school. :D
First week in school

National Day celebration
What I really liked about the school was the low teacher-student ratio of 1:7. When I was there, there were 2 teachers to a class of 7. The maximum class size is 10 from nursery to kindergarten 2. Apart from that, there will be music classes from nursery 1 onwards. I heard they received an award from Parents' World Magazine's “Best of the Best Preschools Award 2014” for best in Integrated Learning.

Colin was able settle down pretty fast and is coping well health wise. He has been singing songs he learnt from school! Hope he likes school. :D

Ang Mo Kio West Town Garden Playground

One of the only sand-based playground in Singapore, one of the playgrounds we frequent after our breakfast at McDonald's. Located opposite Ang Mo Kio Library, pretty convenient to find parking. This playground gets crowded after 9am.

This playground is suitable for all ages. The more adventurous once can conquer the tallest slide while the younger ones can just sit at a corner to play sand. :D

Colin can spend hours and hours at this playground. Oh, there are also 2 baby swings and 4 normal swings as well.

If you've got time to spare, you may walk further into the park and be greeted with a landscaped pond coloured with lotus plants. And if you've got energy to spare, try climbing up the hill for more greenery. Enjoy!

Colin moments

Scenario this morning

Mum: Frying eggs
Dad: Spreading butter on the bread
Colin: Squatting on the floor trying to shit (a little constipated)

Colin suddenly went, "哎呀!为什么痛痛?!".
Both of us burst into laughter!! Haha. He is so expressive!

So we explained to him constipation leads to painful shitting time and asked him to 加油, complete with the action! And he repeated after us, "加油!加油!!", and continued to shit.

This boy is sooooo funny.

Goodbye pacifiers

Came across Colin's favorite pacifiers during clean up and decided to throw away all these for good. :)

Goodbye pacifiers
When we decided to offer Colin the pacifier (to save my poor nipples and everyoone's ears), I knew that someday we would need to wean him off too. So I began listening to others.. I've heard a few methods others did and picked one that might work for Colin.

(1) Tell the child that the birds came in and took it away, or make up any other interesting stories.
(2) Go to a toy store, get child to pick a toy of his/her choice, pay for toy with pacifier.
(3) Explain to the child that he is a big boy /girl now and does not need a pacifier anymore. Then get the child to snip off the pacifier teat and bin it.
(4) Wait for the child to be ready and give up at own will.

I picked option 3. And this was how we weaned Colin off his sleep partner (aka pacifier).

One fine Monday evening in Jun 2013, just a week or 2 after he turned 1 year old, I decided it was time to wean him off his pacifiers, which he has been sucking since...he was 4 day old. I sat him down near the dustbin (with some trash inside), looked at him in the eye and explained to him that he has turned 1 year old was a big boy already, and that big boy means no longer a baby, only babies needed pacifiers. Then I told him that we are going to cut and throw the pacifier away, and that he will learn to sleep without it tonight.

So I proceeded to hold the scissors with him, and together, we snipped off the pacifier teat. I let him try sucking the pacifier but he could not do it cause the teat was too short. Then explained to him that we were done snipping off the teat, the pacifier was spoilt and it was time to bin it! Opened the dustbin lid and he threw it away. I look at him in the eye again and told him that he threw away the spoilt pacifier so that he will remember.

Here comes the test - BEDTIME. He had problems dozing off without sucking the pacifier. Cried and cried to tell me his frustration, and his scream-cry lasted for 2.5 hours. I carried him and explained to him what he did earlier, how he snipped off the pacifier teat and threw it into the bin. Dad came home halfway, got frustrated, and wanted to give his pacifier back. I got frustrated as a result but did not give in. The saving grace was a new toy (given by one of our guests during his birthday party) to distract him. He kept pressing the buttons of the toy to hear the songs. But I think Colin fell asleep cause he was tired out from all the crying.

Learning point: The most important thing was not to get softhearted and let the pacifier re-appear. Cause then the kid will think that crying like mad will eventually bring back his pacifier. Which makes it even harder to wean the next time.

Following day, I was prepared to receive the scream-cry for his morning nap but to my surprise, he was totally okay, as if he knew that crying won't make his pacifiers come back. He played with his new toy, pressing and pressing for music until he fell asleep. The same thing happened during his noon nap and bedtime... and there, goodbye pacifiers! :D

Occupation playground

We went on a playground spree last weekend. Colin usually visits this playground when he goes to grandparents Chang's place. This playground is located next to the Pandan Gardens Leisure Park, and the Pandan reservoir is about 5-10 mins walk from here.

Blk 405 Pandan Gardens
Each playground usually has a theme. And for this playground, I would think it's occupation - Astronaut, Engineer, Mathematician. It could be themed as subjects too - Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Pre-historic animals. What do you think?

Here's Colin getting excited over this slide cause he can decide to go left, right or center! There is also a swirl slide on the right and many activities to do on the platforms. Ah, I forgot to snap a picture of the pretend play store owner area at the bottom.

The other view
On the extreme right side is this see-saw!
Alexis and Colin Chang, 364 days apart.
Here's the mathematician column. There are a few balls inside and it will roll around and fall into the different grooves of the numbers. The bottom is just counting beads which Colin and Alexis loved pushing left and right.

The gears! Keep turning it! Kids love to see the cause and effect.

There's a normal XO tic-tac-toes and a dinosaur one!

How about pretending to be an astronaut?

This playground is suitable for toddlers comfortable with steps. Location far from main road (always my concern). It's usually windy here.

Playground around our place

There are many many playgrounds around our area - Serangoon North.

We drive by this playground before entering the multi-storey carpark.
We pass by this playground to get to 7-11 and his previous childcare.
Colin is always on a look out for this playground and he never misses. HAHAH.
He shout "PLAYGROUND!!!" as he runs towards it...

Blk 504 Serangoon North Ave 4
This is a pretty basic playground with a 1 level slide, 1 swirl slide, fireman's bar, swirl steps. There's also monkey bars behind and a 'n' climbing frame. I always frown at the fact that playgrounds nowadays are lacking swings. It's mainly about climbing, hanging and sliding.

My parents dislike letting him play at this playground because the big kids are very rough and intolerant towards toddlers. They like to play a "catching" game whereby all the players will be on the platforms and the catcher will be on the ground, tossing ball violently to hit anyone on the platform to be the next catcher.

My poor boy will be the one hoping to join in the excitement and fun but.... he is simply too young, gentle and slow for the bigger kids. It's okay to exclude him, but  he can't even go up the platforms because the rest of the kids will be up there, plus the ball from catcher will be thrown anytime, which meant that either he'll be bumped off by bigger kids or get hit by the ball.

Colin can spend more than an hour here (after the big kids go home), walking up to the platforms and coming down the slides repeatedly. He will play with any toddler/dog/tricycle/ball that comes by too.

Dinosaur Playground @ Kim Keat Avenue (Toa Payoh)

Our dear son loves playground. "Playground" is like a magic word. It grabs Colin's attention under most circumstances. There was once we were running late for a playdate at Sentosa and nothing we did could wake him up subtly. Then we mentioned this magic word, and he woke up, all ready to head out! This magic word also works when he's watching TV etc..

We've been visiting playgrounds very often, mainly to exhaust Colin's endless energy. In fact, Colin gets cranky (probably too bored) if he hasn't been to the playground for too long. Just thought it would be nice to document our playground journey and hopes Colin learns more about his younger days when he grows up.

Let's start with one very interesting playground in front of Blk 27 Kim Keat Avenue. It's widely known as Dinosaur Playground.

There is a huge tyrannosaurus with 5 eggs and a smaller tyrannosaurus on its right side. On the left is a stegosaurus modern climb and slide. Nothing fancy but was totally worth the visit when Colin shouted, "Barney! Barney!" as he ran towards the big dino. :D Maybe they should paint the dinos purple since so many kids love Barney, right?

Dinosaur Playground @ Kim Keat Avenue

It may look boring to adults, but kids see things in different light, even more interesting when another kid joins in. Here's what Colin did at the playground!

When he was alone with us, he ran around, and around, and around. Hugged and kissed the dinos, touched their feet, tails, eggs, checked the teeth..  Tried to sit on and lift up the eggs. Asked us to take off our footwear and follow him.

When a 4 year old burmese kid came along, parents no longer exist. They chased each other, climbed up and slid down the stegosaurus, spoke and mimicked each other's language (it was really chicken talking to duck with some common egg language).

Colin (and daddy Chang) having fun!
As I watched them having fun with each other, it suddenly felt nice to have 2 kids, 2 years apart. We do our things while they play with each other. So it's true... with 1 child, they stick to you. with 2 children they stick to each other (okay, most of the time).

Here's a closer look of his friend taken by hubs.

And someone has to look after our stuff when we play right? HAHAHHA.

Colouring

Last weekend Colin saw this and kept saying 'paper'. I figured out he wants to draw. So I handed him a pen and he started colouring. I got a shock. Cause this time he tried to colour the circles and human intuitively. Colin is ready to colour! Heh

Blessed

Shared our Isomil Stage 3 experience and earned a $10 NTUC voucher! :)

Grateful and thankful for it.

Colin is almost 2

What? Colin is almost 2 years old? We have been through quite a bit (actually, ALOT!) since my last update.

Colin started attending childcare (Wesley Child Development Centre) in January 2014 and he fell sick as often as he attended school. For every day, or week, he went childcare,  he would be home the next 1 to 3 weeks recovering. See, the issue was that other parents send their barely recovered kids to ensure virus continuity, and the younger ones with little immunity almost always gets it.

What's worse? We can't fault anyone. The childcare accepts children as long as they do not have fever or hfmd. As for parents, there is only this much leave a working couple (without childcare support) can take to look after their sick kid. So their kids resumes childcare once fever subsides.

When Colin started childcare, everyone was working. It was a very bad time (impossible) for Edward to take leave, I didn't have leave cause my job then was a new one with limited benefits. My mum had to ask my uncle to stand in for her at work so she could look after Colin. Life got better after lunar year because my dad decided to retire. So he was the one looking after Colin when he's sick. In the end we withdrew Colin from childcare cause we couldn't bear see him sick so often (he was barely well and losing weight for the whole 3 months).

Less than a month after my dad became the main caregiver, my neighbour commented that Colin is getting chubby again, looked much better.

My dad has always been great with kids and he surprised me even more by preparing nutritious food for Colin. Colin on the other hand loves his grandpa to bits. They play with each other all day.
More about Colin in school

Initially Colin often held on to the metal gate, jumped and cried for us not to leave him in childare when we said our goodbyes. It progressed to no cries when his favorite person, Alice, the centre's admin, welcomes him at the gate. Then to no crying goodbyes at all. Picking him up from childcare progressed from crying (what took you so long?!!) to smiling, or sometimes not wanting to go home.

During the meet-the-parents session, Colin's teachers told us that he is sociable, loves music and dance, loves readimg books, sings and speaks a lot, physically strong, good psychomotor skills and very active. He is very messy during meal time cause he would empty his cup of water onto the table and start swiping with his hands. They often found him washing hands (playing with water) at the toilet sinks too.

I could tell Colin enjoyed childcare. It's a pity he had to be withdrawn.
Books Colin chose during the mobile library event. His teachers said he was so drawn to books he sat down and read by himself!

Name changed!

So mummy decided to update her name. Okay, maybe more like adding a english name and rearranging the sequence of name, and to add in my marriage name. :)

What to do after changing name?

Changing name is an easy procedure. The first step was to visit the lawyer's to get a deed poll done. Then go to ICA to replace my NRIC. I suggest doing it together with your re-registration of NRIC at 30yrs so it's cheaper ($10). Passport also has to be replaced to reflect new name ($70-$80). The new name will be automatically updated for agencies participating in ICA's OSCAR programme (I.e. HDB, CPF, IRAS will be updated accordingly.)

Then next will to be replacing your driving license ($25) personally at Traffic Police Department. Go early to avoid long wait... and have to park at nearby public carparks.

Followed by all my banks. Almost no queueing needed because updating of particulars can be done over the customer service counters instead of tellers (yay!). I brought along my deed poll but all they needed was just the updated NRIC and signing of their update request form.

That's about all! :) Now I can embrace life with my new name. Keep rocking.

New pattern

This little imp has been absorbing everything good and bad like a sponge. He ran out of the lift today and started playing catching with us, tripped and fell while running away from me... then refused to get up. I found it funny cause he looked so comfortable on the floor. I secretly think he wants to warm up the cold floor for Snowy, the void deck kitty.

I whipped out my phone to take a picture (with the dad rolling his eyes at me), Colin turned and looked into my lens when he heard the camera snapping sound. Hilarious.

The dad wasn't happy though. He walked over to Colin, gave him 3 counts to get up but Colin ignored completely. So.... Colin got carried off the ground after a smack on the backside. :D

Mayday at Singapore F1 2014

So Evon told me that Mayday will be performing at this year’s F1!
I walked to Star Vista with  3 colleagues under the scorching sun to get tickets for her cause over the counter purchase costs $38, $30 lesser than the online price. Since I was already there, I thought I might as well buy tickets for us too. Wondering if my dear Edward would like to go. Let me know after you read this post!  Keke.

Daddy style

Both of us were accompanying Colin for bedtime...

Dad: Shall we leave the room?
Mum: Has he fallen asleep?
Dad: Yes. Let me show you how I check...
Dad: *Poke poke poke poke poke from Colin's ankle to knee* No reaction.
Mum: Totally freaking out at the thought of Colin waking up from his harsh pokes.
Dad: Second check.. *poke poke poke poke cheeks* No reaction still.
Dad: Asleep! Let's go.
Mum: (•_•;)

Valentine's 2014

We met for lunch on valentine's day 2014! I was very excited to go on a lunch date with hubby.

We tried Lee's Taiwanese at Star Vista and it was delicious. Settled for $38 CNY fortune set for 2, which came with pork braised rice, mee sua, 2 small bowls of soup, cabbage, crispy salted chicken, beancurd, cold dish (braised egg, kelp and cucumber), and 2 glasses of lychee juice.

Definitely going back to try their beef noodles and milk tea!

Around our neighbourhood

There is this old school swing in our neighbourhood. Grandma Ong used to have this swing in her house and I remember spending many hours swinging in it with my cousins whenever we visited grandma.

When I saw this in near our house, I had to sit in it! Nevermind the insects and maybe mosquitoes flying around. This swing will be gone before you know it.

Colin moments

Colin found my mobile phone on the bed. He held it tightly, flipped to the side with the camera lens and said "smile"! Lols

Took my ezlink card, placed it on the card reader and said "Beep beep!".

Grabbed daddy's leg, grabbed mummy's legs, said "hug hug!" and pulled our legs together, of course, he joined in the hug too.

Mimicked the way we asks our kitties to come over. He does it everywhere else thinking it would work - void decks, pet shops, really anywhere.

Thursday, December 26

Four years!

It's been 4 years since we said "I do!".

Just like any other couple, we are imperfect human beings and have been through many series of ups and downs. We laugh most of the time. We quarrel sometimes. Tolerate and compromise all the time.

The husband is a very sweet man. He took half day off from work to bring me out, even managed to drop by the florist for some sunflowers, and gave me a gift.

Thank you for everything dear hubby! ♥

Lateral incisor

All I want for christmas is my incisor, my incisor, it's my incisor!
Lift gets exciting with a little one, literally.
Morning of Friday the 13th 2013, Colin fell off our bed and knocked his teeth onto the edge of bedframe.
Blood dripped on floor faster than candle wax, cries to ceiling and popped his left lateral incisor on the floor (for tooth fairy to pick up).

Brought him to SGH Dental to get his gums and mouth checked. Dentist ordered for an x-ray to see if neighbouring teeth were affected as well. It took 5 people to get an x-ray of his bunny tooth - Daddy to hug and hold his hands down, mummy to hold the legs, one nurse to hold mobile phone with Barney Animal ABCs for distraction, another nurse to insert the sensor piece into his mouth, and a final nurse on standby to shoot the x-ray. Colin's role was to cry buckets and try breaking free. At the end of the x-ray session, all the nurses commented "He is very strong!". Haha. Thanks for your acknowledgement.

After that, a surgeon came over to check on the cut on the left side of his mouth. A cut bad enough to call for stitches under local GA, which we weren't keen at all. We decided to let the wound heal naturally. We prayed and prayed for it to heal nicely (and it did!).

Colin was his happy and exploring self after he got over the initial trauma. Climbed and crawled all over the play area while mummy and grandma kam sweated. :D He drank milk from bottle and ate soft diet for 3 days.

Sometimes he told me "Mummy, teeth mei mei (pain pain)" in the cutest voice ever. Such a heart melter. We're sorry you had to go through this boy.

Glad you are okay buddy! Please stop falling or your bunny teeth will be the next to fall out!
