Time for a couple date! This time we visited Adventure Cove Waterpark, one of the latest attraction in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Bought the tickets at corporate rates (less 15%) before I left my previous organisation.
Had to drop off Colin at my mum's place before we headed out! We are very grateful for our parents for taking care of Colin so we can have some couple time. Well, that's a topic for another day.
We parked our car at Habourfront after concluding that parking would be cheapest there. Had lunch with cable car view at Food Junction located at level 3. I ate one of my comfort food - beef noodle.

Proceeded to the park to have fun!IIthis was my second visit to the park, his first though. so I knew exactly which rides tipped towards the exciting scale. In view of the threatening weather, I suggested snorkelling at Rainbow Reef first. Wish I had a waterproof camera to snap pictures of the pretty fishes and reefs seen there.
It poured shortly after we got said goodbye to the colourful fishes. We floated along Adventure River (cause the water was much warmer!) and wow-ed at the different habitats we experienced. Love the sting rays coming up to us!

Next we went to Spiral Washout to start our adrenaline engines. Hubs isn't a fan of all things exciting. There wasn't any queue for this attraction hence he didn't have time to ask me about the ride. He commented that it was okay, probably cause he couldn't see a thing with his glasses away from him, at the storage rack. Heh.
Afraid that he might not try all attractions, I hurriedly walked to Riptide Rocket! The star attraction of the park; Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster! The queue was 1hour, more than enough time for questioning.
"Why are there so many people queuing for this ride?"
"I heard people screaming! Is this some scary ride?"
I tried not to display any emotion on my face. The more I suppressed, the easier it was for hubs to tell I was trying to hide something. I had to tell him something, and that something was... "Just a rollercoaster type of ride. Long queue cause it's some sort of a first in water parks".
Nearing our turn, we could see people coming out of the tunnels, complete with screams, all sorts of expression and capsizing floats. And so it was our turn............................
WOOOOOHOOOOO! Up and down, up and down, up and down! We made it out without capsizing! Hubs said it was quite fun, not scary. Phew.
After that we just lazed around the wave pool, went up to the lookout area, which happened to oversea the soon-to-open dolphins area. I can spend hours and hours just looking at them jumping in and out of water. I wished they were out in the ocean though. Sigh.
Anyway, if you remember Fantasy Island, I think Adventure Cove is almost as good. If comparing against Wild Wild Wet, I place my vote for Adventure Cove.
